Our founders, Daniela and Dan, know how important it is to have a support system as a new parent. Whether through a partner or an online community, it’s a huge help to new moms navigating the new chapter of parenthood.
When Daniela had her first child, she was excited to start breastfeeding. Having heard of all the wonderful benefits to both mother and baby, she was shocked when she encountered challenges with breastfeeding. After trying the various products in the market, she and her husband Dan found that there was a need for a ready to drink product in the market that provided hydration and also aided in milk production.
With SOLMA, they address the need for a ready to drink product that delivers all the galactagogue ingredients, while simultaneously supporting parents on this journey of parenthood. When a baby is born, a mother is born, and SOLMA aims to make life easier for new parents.
UNIQUE TEAS FOR UNIQUE NEEDS
When Daniela chose to breastfeed her first child, both she and her husband figured it would be easy. Wasn’t it the most natural thing in the world? But their journey ended up being a bit more challenging than they initially thought. Battling latch issues and undersupply issues, they researched natural ways to support lactation. The products in the market were effective but either time consuming to prepare or did not fit dietary restrictions.
